I don't believe that these practices have been solely designated to the United States throughout history. It is common place for large governments that inflict their own will on the world and feed the public false truths to fuel the racism, hate and indifference. You say "We" in error, considering that the government is out of control and the actions of the government do not necessarily reflect the wants of the people. The big corporations and big media/news reflect the views of the corrupt bankers that feed the propaganda machine to keep the uneducated masses believing the lies about the war in Afghanistan and accepting what the U.S. military does. The United States has the potential to be a safe haven of diversity, however, when the bankers control all, they have to keep the people uneducated and fighting amongst themselves so they can continue their globalization. I, as an American citizen refuse to take credit for what my uncontrollable government has done. I will not feel as though I am at fault for this. I am well educated and I educate those around me. America is a place of diverse cultures AND thought. Instead of writing a piece just blaming the American people as a whole, maybe it's time to educate them about the powers that be that are tarnishing our individual reputations. THAT is how we make a change, not blame without solution.

Regime...not the country or the people. However, the Jewish lobby, fully aware that Israel has nuclear weapons, has great interest in wiping Iran "off the map" ( originally an expression used by a Jewish Zionist ) and has asked Washington for permission to do so twice. They are the ones who benefit most - destabilizing and destroying the Middle East so they can be left alone to continue seizing land that is not theirs.

It's not me alone who calls the U.S. military racist. It's the Iraq veterans (http://ivaw.org/wintersoldier) who cite this fact over and over, when they testify how they were made to view Muslims as "hodgies" (for Hajjis) at every turn. It's a documented fact that the U.S. military dehumanizes entire cultures this way to make it easier for our troops to deal with killing innocent people. If they are just "hodgies" and not human, we can murder the innocent, the children and the babies. We have done this in every war. In Vietnam, all Vietnamese were "gooks". In WWII all Germans were "Krauts" and the Japanese were "Japs" and so we could inter them in concentration camps in the U.S. and drop the atom bomb on entire cities of people because they weren't human. They were only "japs".

What makes you think a U.S. puppet dictator will be any better? The reality is that we don't know the future, nor should we make decisions for the Iranian people based on conjecture. We have a problem with democracy in the U.S. Who are we to judge and occupy the world? It's their country. Let them fix it. Didn't we learn enough from the Nixon-Iran Shaw debacle, Vietnam and now Iraq? Is Iraq a bastion of democracy by our occupation? Go live there if you like it so much.

Then there's all that lovely oil. Makes your mouth water, I bet.

The mess of the last 8 years is not incompetence as the msm will have you believe. It is by design, with some incompetence mixed in.

The reason we are doing things that don't make sense, like going into the wrong country after 911, is because there is an entirely deifferent agenda and motive than the msm tells us. It's about empire building, war profiteering, controling the remaining oil, defense budget, politics etc.

Writer, thanks for the comment. I agree that the fall-out from 911 is much much worse than the actuall event. World peace is the goal. Thanks for your comment you made on my comment.

Almost everyone in the 911 truth movement has been a peace activist for many years. If we expose the scientific facts of 911, it will be the ultimate wake up call for people about the military industrial complex and many of the other problems.

Keep up the great work. I am checking out this website.

The bigger question is, why are we still fighting wars based on 9-11? We are fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan while the 9-11 terrorists were Al Qeada and are in Pakistan. We have no understanding or plan for the Afghanistan war. It is another Vietnam.

This ongoing 9-11 excuse for illegal preemptive racist genocidal war is a load of crap.

Doc, this is an analogy, as I'm sure you understand. Rubbing the cat's nose in her feces may be debatable. But your method certainly did not work for me at all. Of course this was 30 years ago, so perhaps cat litter technology has improved since then. Actually, as I recall. this was before cat litter existed. Take note, I did not mention I used cat litter. However, warmongering has remained a constant throughout human existence. Perhaps, you could invent a presidential litter of sorts to address this problem with their disregard for human life.

You say this kind of nose rubbing is cruel. I'm sure it's also cruel to have our leaders and the American people look at the torture, death, dismemberment, and tearing apart of families that they do so nonchalantly, even disdainfully, to their victims, the over one million dead innocent civilians of these wars. How cruel would you say is this racist preemptive genocide and occupation of countries that have done nothing to us, whatsoever. Al Qaeda is in Pakistan not Iraq, not Afghanistan. Duh. What morons are running this country?

By the way, I hate cat litter boxes around the house. They stink. My cats lived outside, in their natural habitat.

Analogies are always inadequate and always allow someone to find holes in their logic. Of course, it's not exactly the same thing. It's an analogy. I actually hate analogies for this very reason and like you, I take the opportunity of their inherent weakness to turn them around on the person citing them, when I disagree.

But in this case, the real world situation is more accurate to the analogy than the analogy itself, if you know what I mean, and I think you do because you stated the point was important and valid. Warmongering Presidents, unlike cats, are not instinctively trained to respect human life above political aspirations. In this case the rubbing of noses is quite warranted. That's the point I'm making. My intent was to rouse a response, not to accurately explain cat training. So I am satisfied I have succeeded. But thanks for the correction. Stay tuned for the film.

You are certainly making an important and valid point. However, your introduction is inaccurate and outdated. Speaking as a veterinarian with 18 years of experience, I can tell you that kittens do not have to be litter box trained, it is instinctive for them to use a litterbox. Rubbing an animal's nose in feces is unsanitary and cruel, and it does not help with house breaking or litter box training one iota. Your inaccurate introduction raises doubts that the rest of your article does not deserve. Time for a re-write?
